Isn't this a picture of Lodru Darwa - the "monk" who owns Monkcraft Kayaks in the PNW? It sure looks like him if it is someone else!

Yes, it is Lodru Dawa testing the center section of a 3 piece travel kayak he built. He no longer builds kayak but conducts spiritual retreats. He is an ordained Buddhist monk. I own one of his wonderful kayaks, the jade green one that shows up in shots he has posted, resting on the grey sandy bank of a river.
